I was asked a few days ago about if I have any repair guides that I could post about a Google G1 phone LCD Screen Replacement, Or as it’s otherwise know as, the T-Mobile G1. While I don’t have any myself, I was able to find this video with a really good description and great pictures of a complete tear down of the T-Mobile G1 by HTC. Here are also links to eBay for the parts that you may want to replace.

<a href="http://www.howtofixmyphone.com/store/Replacement-HTC-G1-Parts/Replacement-HTC-G1-LCD-Screen"title="Replacement G1 LCD Screen" >Replacement T-Mobile G1 LCD Screen

<a href="http://www.howtofixmyphone.com/store/Replacement-HTC-G1-Parts/Replacement-HTC-G1-Skin"title="Tmobile G1 Skin" >New T-Mobile G1 Skins

The G1 Replacement LCD Screens seem to be going for around $45-$50 on eBay. You can also buy them in a kit with the LCD Screen, digitizer and replacement tools. So keep that in mind when you go looking around for a new screen. I also threw in the skins link just because its fun to have skins on a phone. Enjoy, and good luck.

Does your T-mobile Dash keep trying to boot up then stops and reboot and tries again?

Will it just not boot up all the way but just stops?

If so try the procedure at this link: T-mobile Dash Master Reset

If this doesn’t work then proceed to the following guide below.

The Windows Mobile installation may be corrupted.

The only way to fix that problem is by re-installing the windows software on the phone.

You can get the software for the T-mobile dash at the following link: http://www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade/

Be warned that if you use this method most of the data on the phone will be lost, like text messages and etc. Your contacts should be fine as the are stored on the SIM Card and if you have been syncing your contacts with your PC then they should get loaded when you do the update.

If you are running Windows XP or Windows 2000, you will need to download the Microsoft ActiveSync Software at the following link.http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/e…

If you Have windows Vista then you are good to go for the Active Sync software.

Once the you have downloaded the software, run the upgrade software from T-mobile and follow the instruction.

There is no guarantee to work but if your T-mobile Dash is continuously rebooting you don’t have anything to lose by trying it.
